We enforce strict industry standards that are in line with the demands of productions, distributors and broadcasters. Using a combination of manual and computer run quality control checks, City Post’s QC testing targets the delivery specifications of broadcasters and distributors locally and internationally, incl. BBC and ITV.
Testing for PSE (Photo-sensitive epilepsy), aka the Harding Test, is a requirement from a growing number of overseas and local distributors. It considers strobing, frame rates, framing and changes in luminosity – and cannot be determined by eye or knowledge alone – but by software run algorithms.
We run certified tests in the earlier stages of the edit to ensure works don’t get rejected at the finish line.
